Orange County's Firefighters Back Anthony Kuo for Re-Election

IRVINE, California - Irvine's Vice Mayor Anthony Kuo has earned the endorsement of the Orange County Professional Firefighters Association, Local 3631.

Vice Mayor Kuo, who serves on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Fire Authority, is running for re-election to the Irvine City Council in the November 2022 election.

"Protecting Irvine's quality of life has always been one of my top priorities," said Vice Mayor Kuo. "I'm dedicated to working with and supporting our first responders to keep Irvine communities safe," Kuo added.

"Throughout your first term on the Irvine City Council and your service on the OCFA Board of Directors, you have demonstrated your support for our firefighters and paramedics," said Todd Baldridge, President of the OCPFA, Local 3631. Baldridge added, "The men and women of OCPFA Local 3631 will never forget the tireless support that you provided for the recovery of our two firefighters critically injured at the Silverado Fire. You stepped up in a way that very few elected officials have ever done, and we are incredibly grateful."
